[이코리아] 도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령과 김정은 북한 국무위원장의 공동합의문 전문이 공개됐다. 이날 양국 정상이 서명한 합의문에는 새로운 북미관계 구축, 한반도 평화체제 확립, 한반도의 완전한 비핵화, 포로의 즉각 송환 등의 내용이 포함됐다.

이번 합의문 내용은 당초 트럼프 대통령이 언급한대로 세부적인 사항보다는 포괄적인 약속으로 이뤄져있다. 특히 최대 관심사였던 '완전하고 검증가능하며 불가역적인 비핵화(CVID)'라는 문구는 합의문에 포함되지 않았다. 이번 합의문에는 CVID 대신 "북한이 한반도의 완벽한 비핵화(complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsular)를 위해 노력할 것을 약속한다"는 문구가 명시됐다.

한편 양국은 공동합의문에서 마이크 폼페이오 미 국무장관 및 북한 고위급 관료가 이끄는 후속 협상을 빠른 시일 내에 열고 합의사항 이행을 위해 노력할 것을 선언했다.

도널드 트럼프 미합중국 대통령과 김정은 조선인민민주주의공화국 국무위원장은 2018년 6월 12일 싱가포르에서 첫 번째 역사적 정상회담을 개최했다.

트럼프 대통령과 김 위원장은 새로운 조미관계와 지속적이고 굳건한 한반도 평화체재 구축과 관련된 이슈에 대해 포괄적이며 심도 깊고 진정성 있는 의견을 교환했다. 트럼프 대통령은 북한에 안전보장을 제공하기로 약속했으며, 김 위원장은 한반도의 완벽한 비핵화에 대한 확고하고 흔들림 없는 약속을 재확인했다.

새로운 북미관계 수립은 한반도와 세계의 평화와 번영에 기여할 것을 확신하며, 상호 신뢰 구축이 한반도 비핵화를 촉진할 수 있음을 인식하고 트럼프 대통령과 김 위원장은 다음과 같이 선언한다.

4. 미합중국과 조선인민민주주의공화국은 이미 신원이 확인된 전쟁포로, 전쟁 실종자들의 유해를 즉각 송환하는 것을 포함해 전쟁포로, 전쟁실종자들의 유해 수습을 약속한다.

역사상 최초의 조미 정상회담은 양국 간의 수십 년간의 긴장과 적대를 극복하고 새로운 미래를 여는 중대한 의미를 지닌 획기적 사건임을 인정하며, 트럼프 대통령과 김 위원장은 공동성명서의 조항들을 신속하고 완전하게 이행할 것을 약속한다.

미합중국과 조선인민민주주의공화국은 가능한 빠른 시일 내에 마이크 폼페이오 미 국무장관과 북한 고위급 관료가 이끄는 후속 협상을 열고, 조미 정상회담의 결과들을 이행할 것을 약속한다.

President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un conducted a comprehensive, in-depth, and sincere exchange of opinions on the issues related to the establishment of new U.S.-DPRK relations and the building of a lasting and robust peace regime on the Korean Peninsula. President Trump committed to provide security guarantees to the DPRK, and Chairman Kim Jong Un reaffirmed his firm and unwavering commitment to complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

Convinced that the establishment of new U.S.-DPRK relations will contribute to the peace and prosperity of the Korean Peninsula and of the world, and recognizing that mutual confidence building can promote the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un state the following:

1. The United States and the DPRK commit to establish new U.S.-DPRK relations in accordance with the desire of the peoples of the two countries for peace and prosperity.

2. The United States and the DPRK will join their efforts to build a lasting and stable peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.

3. Reaffirming the April 27, 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, the DPRK commits to work towards complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

4. The United States and the DPRK commit to recovering POW/MIA remains, including the immediate repatriation of those already identified.

Having acknowledged that the U.S.-DPRK summit - the first in history - was an epochal event of great significance and overcoming decades of tensions and hostilities between the two countries and for the opening of a new future, President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un commit to implement the stipulations in this joint statement fully and expeditiously.

The United States and the DPRK commit to hold follow-on negotiations led by the U.S. Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, and a relevant high-level DPRK official, at the earliest possible date, to implement the outcomes of the U.S.-DPRK summit.
